While it may lack a single breakout hit quite like the first season's "iconic tune," that's because each element in this season being more complex. The action, personal development, and especially the music are all more sophisticated. The story advances the overarching plot dramatically while delivering plenty of bizarre, unhinged, and ultimately fun fantasy.

8. Daredevil: Born Again

Following the acclaimed Netflix series, this series faced immense expectations. Despite well-documented development issues, the final show demonstrates to be worthy of the wait. The story centers on Matt Murdock once his dual life as Daredevil is exposed, making him a target to enemies both past and present in a refreshed version of his well-known world.

The premiere is a thrilling return to form, capturing the gritty feeling fans cherished from the prior series. Although the middle episodes venture into certain new narrative ground, the season concludes on a strong note, leaving viewers keenly awaiting a follow-up season.

A unexpected this year's gem, this show could be described as an animated Breaking Bad filtered through the humor of a suburban satire.
